Kettlebell Instructor - Haitham Himoud

Haitham is the head Kettlebell instructor at Essential Krav Maga. He successfully passed his HKC (Hard Style Kettlebell Challenge) certification in 2011 under senior RKC Peter Lakatos from Dragon Door.

Haitham has been training with Kettlebells for the last two years, initially to lose weight and get fit. However, over the past year he relied heavily on specific Kettlebell workouts to condition himself for the demands of Krav Maga and Tae Kwon Do gradings conducted by the IKMF and TAGB respectively.

Haitham is a senior grade member at Essential Krav Maga, and has been training under the guidance of Jim Maidment for the last 2.5 years. Currently he is working to achieve his instructor graduate level with the IKMF. Haitham is also a Tae Kwon Do practitioner of 3.5 years and will be undergoing his Black Belt grading in October 2011. His passion for Kettlebells and his belief in the teachings of Pavel Tsatsouline from Dragon Door will see him undergo his RKC (Russian Kettlebell Challenge) certification in early 2012.
